Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Recently, in the 'let's remove functionality' moves that Shopify is making, they took away the shipping tracking information that was normally showing (and clickable) in the timeline for orders.
Feature request: Please bring that back.
The only way to view the shipping and tracking information now for an order is to resend the shipping email that was sent to the client, to myself. This is a waste of time and effort. Bring back the coding that was already in place that let us keep our shipping info in the timeline information. This is especially important with how PayPal allows buyers to request refunds at the drop of a hat without contacting the store.
Hi @petgrocer
Order shipping tracking information is really important for merchants.
Before Shopify restores this feature, to avoid resending emails and complicated checks, you can consider using an order tracking app like TrackingMore, which allows you to monitor and view real-time logistics information of all orders directly in one dashboard, simplifying the process of viewing shipping information.
If your order volume is at most 50, the free plan is enough for basic order tracking purposes. You can view and download it through this link.
Thanks but we aren't going to be paying for an app for a feature that was ALREADY in the system. Just like how they took away the 'save cart' feature for POS. I am boggled at why they continue to make the system worse on purpose.
