Fix shopify declining my card on stores hosted on its platform

I've been trying to purchase an item from one of the stores hosted on Shopify but my card keeps getting declined. When I first initiated a payment, I was taken to the Mastercard 3ds page to input the one-time password sent to me, and I was redirected to the checkout page but still plagued with the "payment method declined" error. During all this, I've been having back and forth with my bank where I'm told there is no issue on their end and my account is good.

I'm so frustrated with this experience considering the same card is attached to many platforms (iCloud, Digital Ocean, namecheap, stripe e.t.c.) and it just works.
