Frustration: Shopify Multi-Currency without Shopify Payments

I'm not looking for a solution anymore as i know it is not possible without Shopify Payments - and SP is not available in my country as well as in most others. I simply want to express my frustration of Shopify's ridiculous policy not to allow multicurrency checkout if you don't use their payment service, even when they don't offer it for your country. 

All Shopify's competitors, including Big Commerce have such options - display currency and settlement currency offered at checkout, but no Shopify? Is it really that hard to do it? Stripe, your most trusted "recommended in my country" provider is supporting multicurrency, but you are not allowing it. PayPal also supports multicurrency as Shopify knows very well.

Creating duplicate store only to accept additional currency is ridiculous! Shopify's policy is starting to causing us losses instead of making us more money. I'm looking for alternatives now.

This is not a solution at all. It creates external checkout and does not use the native Shopify checkout which means - no post purchase upsell, google shopping feeds and so many other apps will not work with it.
