Getting customer's email from Apple Pay

Hi

 

One of our customer purchased on our store using Apple Pay. But he only received confirmation by phone, not by email.

He populated his email in his Apple Pay account.

How is it supposed to work in that case? Should Shopify receive the email from Apple Pay?

The issue is likely due to how their Apple Pay is set up. Do you see an email attached to the order? If yes, do you see the option to resend the order confirmation email in the order timeline?

Okay, great! That should resolve the issue then. Your customer can reach out to Apple if they have any further questions on how to ensure they receive order confirmation emails when paying for products online should it be a repeat occurrence.
