Google Autocomplete in Checkout missing out door numbers

If this has been already covered elsewhere, my apologies, please do let me know.


Sometimes when a customer types in their address, the Google autocomplete dropdown suggests the address but misses out the door number and just shows the remainder of the address. 


Customers unknowingly select it, then their order goes out without a door number and gets returned to us by Royal Mail. Meanwhile the customer complains to us and we have to resend the order out at our cost.


This is happening on more and more orders which adds quite a lot of unnecessary burden and cost.


Has anyone else seen this or know a useful solution to it? If an admin wants to contact me directly, I can share an example. Thanks
