Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello,
I am in the process of having my products listed with Google and the process is driving me slightly crazy.
All of my products have the following error:
Missing shipping in some countries
I have checked a lot of previous posts on this issue but cannot come to a solution.
I have a very simple shipping setup in Shopify:
Under $50 is $10 shipping. Over $50 is free.
This was imported from Shopify to Google but I can see it's all wrong in Google which must be the cause of the error. No US set, all countries have the wrong settings.
It seems that I have to manually change this for all countries in the attached. Is there a way to apply the same to all countries?
Unsure why Shopify failed to import not only the correct settings but even missing enabled countries.
I would greatly appreciate some feedback/assistance on this.
Thanks,
Jack
Perhaps my settings were wrong in Shopify? I do see how to change this via Google now but I am assuming something is wrong with my below shopify settings as the import failed.
Make sure to disable automatic shipping in the data feed app you are using.
Delete the submitted shipping rates you have in GMC.
Then setup the shipping rates manually.
Thank you for your reply.
I am using DSers-AliExpress Dropshipping. Is this the setting you are refering to?
What does disabling it do?
I'm talking about your Google and Youtube app.
OK thanks.
I am in the process of doing this now. Really disappointed at how bad Shopify is. I was expecting so much more based on their growth and clients. I now have to spend hours manually completing this for all countries when it should be pretty easy for Shopify to automatically add this correctly.
Hi, @zomex. I appreciate you sharing all of this context and I'm happy to share some information to help you out. For clarity, which app are you currently using? Is it the Google & YouTube app here?
If you are using the Google & Youtube app I shared you can automatically import the shipping settings you set up in Shopify by clicking the Automatically import shipping settings option in the Manage shipping settings pop up module when you set up the app. The availability of this option depends on your country, as well as the conditions listed below. You can learn more in this guide from Google.
Conditions to allow the automatic import of shipping rates:
If you don't meet these conditions you would need to set this up manually by following the steps in this guide from Google. If you believe you meet the requirements to allow for the automatic import of your shipping rates, and it isn't working as expected, please reach out to our support team through the Help Center here so we can look into this with you.

Hello @Erin
Thanks for your reply.
To confirm I was using the Google & Youtube app and did use the import shipping settings option. It did import settings but they did not match what I had set in Shopify. So the import failed.
In the end I had to delete all of the imports made by Shopify and manually setup my shipping rates within the Google Merchant account.
Thanks.
