Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I have been using Shopify for a while now and am familiar with the schedule of their payouts when using Shopify payments.
I have the payout schedule set for every day and the days sales are usually processed in a payout by 5am the next morning.
I can see scheduled payouts from this weekend due for Wednesday but Mondays sales have not been put in a payout and are just in my balance.
Shopify support assured me everything is okay but I'm still a little bit uncertain as this has never happened before. So all my sales are currently just adding to my balances and are not scheduling for payouts.
I've not received any email or notification to say there are any issues but I was wondering if anyone else has this issue or knows what may have possibly gone on.

Same issue on my end. I track my payouts daily and the same issue is happening here. Payouts for Thursday 19th are still showing in the payout balance, they would usually be scheduled by 2am this morning. I've been assured by support that it's all good and payouts will go ahead as normal.
The same thing happened on June 21st. It took a few days to fix the glitch, but the payouts were all successful on the days - they just changed to scheduled on the day they were due to be paid, rather than a couple of days in advance.
I'm guessing this is a similar issue and we are just picking up on it early, as more people report it I'm sure they'll sort it out. Last time this happened I messaged in the morning to report it - then later in the day they messaged me back saying their developers were aware and were sorting it.
Anyway - I just wanted to reassure you that the last time this happened all the payouts came through successfully exactly as normal, so I'm sure this will be the same

We have the same thing I think, also in the UK. Mondays takings aren't showing as a payout for Thursday as they normally would, still on balance and today's taking have added to the balance

Hi - also in the UK. Having the same issue and was wondering what was happening. Particularly important to us at this time of year due to the bank holidays and sales affected during holiday as physical shop is closed.
It is worrying but Shopify does have a track record of making changes and not informing customers. Things change and then if it doesnt work they fix it pretty quickly. We've been with Shopify for 5 years and Im confident it will be fixed, but still reassuring to hear its not just our shop.

Ive been with shopify for 4 years im not sure how long i have had hourly payouts but i would always get my payouts on the hour after i received an order. The last week or so i have not and i reached out to shopify multiple times and got generic responses every time. Today i was informed hourly payments are no longer available through shopify. I think its absurd theyre not announcing things like this.
We are having the same issue, no scheduled payouts for this Thurs 19th and Fri 20th Dec and a pending balance. Shopify support just said that they are grouping payments because of the Christmas sales period and they have forwarded my concern to the relevant department to try and release our payouts. Has anyone had any luck getting this sorted out?
I am also in UK, and having the same issue. The balance seems to keep building rather than triggering a payout. We have also had contact from a customer with a cancelled order in this period to say there refund has been rejected as it was not processed. This is one of the pending transactions from the missing/ delayed payouts
Same issue here - also in the UK. Its kind of reassuring to know it's not just us! I contacted support via chat last night but didn't get any specific help.
Can't get onto chat this morning.
The only positive sign I have noticed is the 'next payout' link, top right of the home page does have the correct figure for the next payout. Just don't know when that will be!!
Not sure how best to log this as an issue - can anyone advise?

Just a couple of things to note if it helps people :
1. I had the exact same issue as this back in June 21st of this year. All payouts triggered to scheduled around 2am the day they were due and were paid successfully. It took about a week, from memory, before they started triggering 2-3 days in advance as normal.
2. If you click the actual £ amount in your payout balance you can see the individual transactions, for me those are still showing the correct payout dates next to them - they are just showing as pending instead of scheduled.
I’m sure they’ll be paid as normal tomorrow; there’s still always some anxiety around issues like this though!
Shopify is becoming bad with payouts. I hope your issue was resolved
Did it ever get sorted out? I have noticed nothing have been moving since the 17th.
It’s unusual for payouts to remain in your balance without scheduling, especially if your Shopify Payments settings and schedule have been consistent. Delays can sometimes occur due to banking holidays, processing times, or technical issues on Shopify’s end. Since Shopify support confirmed no issues, you might wait another 24-48 hours to see if the payouts are processed. If the problem persists, reach out to Shopify Payments support again for a deeper investigation or contact your bank to ensure no issues on their side.
same issue here, (also in UK)i have had a weekly payout schedule since started with shopify in 2019, advisor told me it was a platform change and if i wanted to know what was coming in i had to add it all up going forward, seems ridiculous and a backward step, i am now investigating other options as this new system does not work for me
