Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Has anyone managed to 'crack' dangerous goods shipping internationally ? We sell perfume and nail polish and our domestic shipping provider (Royal Mail in UK ) does not allow us to ship these goods internationally. We have looked into other alternatives but just can't seem to find a cost effective solution to ship globally. We are only shipping 1 or 2 50 ml bottles so quantities are very limited but we get quotes for like 100-200 GBP per parcel which is completely out of the question. I understand this is going to cost a fair bit more but can't be that much surely. We looked into getting the Hazmat training but it was a bit too much for a small business.
Has anyone managed to send these parcels at a sensible cost and how ?
Thanks.
Hi @LA_GENT1,
It's better to choose any global shipping carrier like FedEx or EasyPost that ships dangerous goods. To add on, EasyPost isn’t just a great option for eCommerce brands sending millions of parcels each year. Small businesses can also greatly benefit from EasyPost with shipping rates and discounts geared directly towards them. You can configure both FedEx & EasyPost within Shopify using Multi Carrier Shipping Label App.
Let me know if you have any further queries. I will be happy to help!
