I can appreciate how frustrating it can be to have ordered something online and to have not received it. Shopify is a software company with tools that enable stores to build their websites and sell their products online. We don't sell any of the products ourselves. We do not manage the shipping or sales of the store, and we cannot recover your money for you, as we do not operate businesses on behalf of merchants on the platform. However, I certainly want to help. While I will not actually be able to confirm if a store you ordered from is on Shopify, I can definitely give some next steps. In these situations, the best first step to take is to contact the store directly as they are the only ones able to see your order and take the appropriate actions. You should be able to find the contact information for them in one of the following ways:

  • Does their website have a Contact Us section? You should be able to find the contact information such as email addresses there.
  • You may be able to message them on their social media platforms, such as Facebook or Instagram.
  •  If you received a confirmation email, it may be a good idea to reply directly to that!

 

Once you have contacted the store, they may be able to advise you or give you more information regarding your order.If you don’t hear back from the store or are unable to reach them, the second step would be to reach out to your bank/ credit card provider for further options regarding your payment and possible refund options. They will have more information on this matter. And finally, if you believe that this store is using Shopify, you can report it using this form. Once this is completed, it will be looked into in more detail.
