Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
any advice would be appreciated, do I fulfill these orders? As I have been paid already for one transaction
Hey, @ConnieB!
Appreciate you reaching out to the Shopify forums for some guidance!
It can be a little uneasy for merchants when they receive high risk flags for their orders and to know what next best steps to take. The decision is ultimately up to you whether to fulfill these orders and if you feel comfortable doing so. I would suggest, however, to reach out to the customer to verify some details such as addresses, phone number, email, and name they used. Are they struggling to provide the correct information? This help doc here on Fraud Prevention has some tips on helping you verify legitimate orders if you wanted to have a look.
If you would like to add that extra layer of protection, check out our free Fraud Filter app here.
With this app, you can create your own rules that would either flag or cancel the order automatically. I hope you find the above helpful!
As Black Friday Cyber Monday is approaching, have you got your site ready for this or have any plans for it?
