Hosting a verification file for enabling apple pay

Hi there, 

there are many people, including me, who don't know how to host a verification file to enable apple pay via stripe. Could you please help me with this?

I'm asked to host a verification file like this:

Host the verification file

You'll need to host the verification file you downloaded above at your domain in the following location:

https://example.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association

I don't really know what do they mean by the "location" and where I can get there and upload a file.

Having the same issue.

I've chatted with Stripe and they say they don't allow verification using meta tags, which seems to be the only thing Shopify supports.

Seems to be a bit of an oversight on Shopify's part.
