How can a non-resident in the USA set up payment methods on Shopify?

If it isn't necessary to establish an online business as a non-resident in the USA for a Shopify account, how can I set up Shopify Payments or PayPal Payments within Shopify? Additionally, do I need a PayPal business account, or is a personal one sufficient?

If so, do you currently have physical operations (i.e an office) within the United States? 

If not, I encourage you to check out this complete list of all available third-party payment providers in your country and/or region. Shopify has integrated with over 100 different third-party payment providers, including PayPal, to allow you to continue accepting credit cards online.
