How can I add a custom message in the shipping step of checkout?

Hi,

 

I've performed a cursory search however haven't been able to find an adequate answer.

 

I would like to know if there is a way I can add a custom message within the Shipping step of the checkout process, e.g. just under the shipping methods.

 

Essentially, I would like to add a reminder message advising customers of potential customs duties.

 

I am not on the Shopify Plus plan and would ideally be looking for a solution within the Basic Plan, if at all possible.

 

Would be very grateful for any assistance or pointers.

Thank you Mirdas, I had a gut feeling that would be the case.

 

I’ll have no other alternative other than to leave the note within the shipping policy and hope that will suffice.

Do you mean something like this?

If yes, then this is possible via our app ShipMagic but you need to have CCS enabled on your store for shipping rate apps like ours to work. You might have to upgrade to the Shopify plan to have CCS.

There is no issue with adding the different shipping methods, I was wanting something like the following, essentially a custom field where you can add text:

Hello @Arimor ,

 

By default, Shopify does not offer the ability to make modifications to the checkout page.

 

Nevertheless, you do have the option to customize the checkout design with the assistance of a developer if you are on a Shopify Plus plan.
