Hi,

I want to add a "Service Terms and Conditions" text and link above the "Pay Now" button however I could not find a way to edit the payment page. Would you please guide me?

Hey @itdwellworks!

Eediting the checkout page is only possible on the Shopify Plus plan. However, there are a few workarounds that you can use to add your "Service Terms and Conditions" text and link to the checkout area on a standard Shopify plan:

  • Add a message to the cart page: You can add a message to the cart page reminding customers to review your service terms and conditions before proceeding to checkout. To do this, go to your Shopify admin dashboard and navigate to "Online Store" > "Themes" > "Customize" > "Cart page". From there, you can add your message using a rich text editor or a custom HTML section.
  • Use an app: There are several apps available on the Shopify App Store that allow you to add a checkbox for customers to agree to your terms and conditions before they can proceed to checkout. One example is the "Terms and Conditions Checkbox" app. This app adds a customizable checkbox to your checkout page that customers must check before they can proceed with their purchase.
  • Add a link to your footer: You can add a link to your service terms and conditions in the footer of your website. This will make the link accessible from any page on your site, including the checkout page. To add a link to your footer, go to your Shopify admin dashboard and navigate to "Online Store" > "Themes" > "Customize" > "Footer". From there, you can add a custom link to your service terms and conditions page.

Let me know how you get on!
