Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello,
I offer to my customer some offline payments mode e.g bank transfer.
Once they validate the payment on the checkout page they receive an email with a "view order" button redirecting to a confirmation page: https://xxx.myshopify.com/xxxx/orders/yyyyy/authenticate?key=zzzz&syclid=mmmmm
Is it possible to add the possibility for the customer to pay with standard payment methods on this page (card payment, paypal), as the order is still on "pending payment" ?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Hello, @Darksheep1974.
Thanks for posting this question.
If you're offering manual payments, such as bank transfer or cash on delivery, then there isn't a way to switch back to the credit card or PayPal payment methods once a customer has opted to use manual payments. Once a customer elects to use bank transfers, the payment status is automatically set as Pending so that you can check whether you've received the transfer as instructed on our guide. If the customer wants to switch to credit card or PayPal payments, then the order would need to be cancelled and placed again.

Thanks for your quick answer,
Is there's a way to "hold" the customer basket (with customer informations, delivery information) through some payment methods / API in order to allow the customer to pay the basket by card later ?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Hey, @Darksheep1974.
Thanks for following up!
You can reserve items using draft orders. However, if you're looking to allow customers to reserve items through the online checkout, then you may want to consider something that allows customers to buy now and pay later like Shop Pay Installments.
