How can I automate orders from my photography site to be fulfilled through opencart?

Hello!

I am not a technical person but hoping someone can give me some direction to get my photography site up and automated!

I want orders to be purchased through Shopify, but then sent/fulfilled through the opencart system where this is already integrated to our printing and shipping partners, etc. and automated.

I am having trouble understanding what needs to be in place to send orders from Shopify to the (opencart?) API so our orders automatically are sent to our printer. Is this feasible, or is it better to just start from scratch and get this information built in Shopify?
