Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello, I'm a newbie so please forgive my lack of knowledge....
My company has two locations, one on each side of US. We will fulfill by geographical location. But, we do not want to split orders at any time. Can that be set up in the 'Smart Order Routing'? It will default to the closet location, but if the order cannot be completely fulfilled, it will fall to the secondary location? Also, we have products that will only be held at one of the locations, so If an order has any of those products, regardless of location, it will default to the location that has those specific products for the complete fulfillment (assuming all the rest of the order is in the same location)? Thanks,

You can configure your SOR to first assess the primary location (closest to the customer) for complete order fulfillment capability. If the primary location can fulfill the entire order, it processes the order. However, if it cannot, the system should automatically check the secondary location (the other side of the US) for complete fulfillment capability before processing the order there. This ensures that orders are not split between locations, aligning with your requirement.
In cases where the primary location cannot fulfill the entire order, the system should be designed to automatically fall back to the secondary location for fulfillment, as long as the secondary location can fulfill the order in its entirety.

Does the 'Minimize split fulfillment' have no split fulfillment setting?

Thanks David,
I set the 'Minimize Split Fulfillments' (Check if any locations can fulfill the entire order). Is that it? I didn't see any settings within the 'Minimize Split Fulfillments'
It doesn't look like I can fully 'shut' off split shipments. I did create a flow that, if an order cannot be fulfilled at one place and still a split, then gets put on hold.
