Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
hello I am a young business owner and im trying to connect my payouts to my dads account. I accidently put my info (and not my dads) into shopify now its asking me to verify it when I go to link my bank account. The account is linked to his bank and the other 2 steps are checked off, however I cant get paid without verifying my identity. how can I go about changing this to where I would have to put a picture of my dads passport (or any other form of ID) rather than my own?
Hey, @Die4duke!
We'd love to assist you with updating your bank account information and switching it to your dad's account. Since this concern is account-specific and it requires account access, our support team will need to continue assisting you. We are unable to support account-specific concerns in Shopify Community at this time because we don't have the ability to securely access accounts. You can visit our Help Center anytime to create a support ticket and one of our support advisors will be happy to help you out with your Shopify Payments bank account.
I hope the setup is going well, outside of the Shopify Payments concern. If you need a hand with the setup, do take note that we have a lot of resources that will guide you through the process of building and designing your store. Here's one that covers everything you need to know and do to start selling. Feel free to check that out!
