How can I change my social security number to EIN?

I would like to remove my social security number and change it to my ein , how would I do that ?

I understand you're looking to update your business type and tax ID number. At this time it's not possible to remove your SSN as this information is required. However, our support team can assist with adding your EIN to your Shopify Payments account.

 

In order to have this information updated for you, your account will need to be authenticated. Since we are not able to provide account specific information via our Community Forums, you'll need to reach out to our Live Support team. Hey, put in the wrong last number in my ssn. Are y’all able to unsend it and so I can do it again
