How can I determine which store a Paypal payment is from?

Hi everyone,

is there any possibility to find out from the payment from Paypal which shop the payment is for? We have more shops on Shopify but I can't find invoices for some payments.

Thank you for reaching out here.

I am not sure that this can help but you should try to get the invoice number or transaction id of this payment in Paypal and type it in the search bar of each shop. If this payment is found after searching, it belongs to that shop.

You mentioned you had more than one store here, are you involved in multiple businesses or would these stores be related?
