How can I effectively track inventory for product variants?

Hi

This is the scenario I have :

Product A is the main product. Product A has 6 variants.

Product A with 15 and 27
Product A with 15 and 40
Product A with 36 and 27
Product A with 36 and 40
Product A with 60 and 27
Product A with 60 and 40

But 15, 27, 40, 36, 60 are also products and need to be track for inventory.

So I have added all the products to my product page, but can't seem to find the right method of tracking/selling.

Basically I need to show online only product A with all variant options. Once the Customer has selected what they need and checkout, stock is then reduced accordingly.

I.e

I sell :

3 x Product A with options 15 and 27
5 x Product A with options 36 and 27

Stock levels should then reduce :

Product A - 8
Product 15 -3
Product 27 -8
Product 36 -5

Please help . . .
