How can I find my third party permission username for PayPal?

To obtain your third-party permission username for adding it to your PayPal account in Shopify, you'll need to follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Shopify admin.

2. Go to the "Settings" section and select "Payment providers."

3. In the "Third-party providers" section, locate and select "PayPal."

4. Scroll down to the "Account credentials" section.

5. Under "Third-party permission username," you should see a field displaying your third-party permission username. This username is generated by Shopify and is unique to your account.

There are no only “PayPal” just lay-buy powered by PayPal.

in Third party paiement provider, in supported payment method there is Lay-buy powered by PayPal, but nothing about account credential

or third party permission. 

i’m going nuts 🤯😂

my store is

located in Thailand maybe the PayPal checkout is different? Why should I go

through lay-buy and don’t have “PayPal express checkout” ?

Sadly, PayPal do not currently support Shopify merchants based in Thailand. This is something that is out of our control here at Shopify, but I do understand this is disappointing. 

I want to share with you here a full list of all the gateways that are supported for Thailand. I trust this helps, thank you.
