How can I fix the incorrect tracking information issue?

Does anybody have a solution for the 'wrong tracking' issue? I have seen this several times in the forum but the only solution I can see is to provide the tracking URL which obviously looks bad to the customer.

 It seems unbelieveable that Shopify would leave such a glaring issue unresolved but I can't find an answer.

Has anybody managed to resolve this?

If you are open to using shipping solutions, I will suggest you take a look at Shopify Multi Carrier Shipping Label App The app automatically send live order tracking updates to customers via email as soon as the tracking status is updated by the shipping carrier.
