How can I get a refund after deactivating my ecommerce account?

I deactivated my account today and later on got a bill for my shopify account. Please refund this, I’m a student and I need the money

I can definitely understand the need to have this billing charge reviewed for a refund. This is not something we can do here in the community forums though. Our support team is unable to authenticate merchant accounts here, so to protect the privacy of your sensitive information we aren't able to access your store.

 

Depending on the status of the store when it was closed and if any sales had been made for the billed time period, our team will be happy to look into the availability of a refund for that final charge. Please note that Shopify generally does not provide refunds as hosting the store data past the free trial experience is considered services rendered.
