How can I get a refund for a charge from a cancelled account?

I thought my account want deactivated. I have never used shopify.  i thought i just canceled it same day as sign up. i got charged today and would like to cancel the charge before it goes through. i am having a hard time contacting shopify.

I understand that you would like to deactivate your account and are inquiring about your plan charges. May I ask you why you are looking to close your store? Is there anything we could have done to help you out better?


In your case, you will want to ensure that you have deactivated your shop by following the steps below: 

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Plan.

  2. Click Deactivate store.

  3. Enter your password, and then click Deactivate now.
