Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi- I’ve captured a payment and it’s pending payout. Is there any way I can stop it paying out before the Shopify fee is taken as I don’t want the money to go into my business account yet as it may need refunded.

It appears as if you are using Shopify Payments and are referring to payouts through our in-house gateway. Transactions share the same status as payouts with the addition of the Pending status. Transactions marked as Pending are for sales that you've made, but that haven't been sent to your bank account yet. We'd be happy to take a closer look here to determine your next steps. Thank you. I managed to find an article that said I can refund and if I have paid out the fund it will deduct the amount from
my next sale. So that helps 👍🏽
