How can I import PayPal orders to Shopify?

I just switched over my website from Squarespace to Shopify. In the migration process, I invoiced customers PayPal invoices for orders. I am now ready to ship their orders but would like to ship from Shopify & have their customer profiles be updated with these purchases so they get the branded emails & know they’re purchase  behavior.

Do I re create each order as a draft order or is their another way? It’s only roughly 20 orders.

All other orders have been imported from last website it’s just these open orders that were invoiced through PayPal

Thank you for getting in touch, and welcome to Shopify!

It is not possible to import orders directly into Shopify (although you can export them). There are some apps that allow for this functionality, such as EZ Importer, although if you just have 20 orders to import I would recommend adding them manually instead using draft orders.

The process is slightly tedious but it's relatively straightforward; you can add the product and customer details to the order and then once it has been created, you can mark them as paid if the customers have paid via PayPal. The draft orders will then become full orders in the Orders section of your admin and will be available for fulfillment.
