How can I include customer names in my payout report?

I understand how to get to each Payout and view the transactions in each payment, but cannot figure out how to show the customer name on this list.  Without this, it is a bookkeeping nightmare for me?  I don't want to have to click into each Reference # in order to retrieve the customer name.  If this feature isn't available, it is truly missed.

Currently, it's not possible to achieve this through Shopify's built-in reports.

Report Pundit allows you to export payout information along with customer information. Reports can be exported in CSV, Excel, and PDF formats.

I can appreciate the extensive reporting I can get from Report-Pundit, I'm really looking for one very basic report that I feel should be a part of Shopify.  I have used Stripe in the past for payouts and get this information with the click of a button.  Now I'm forced to pay for an app to do something that seems so very simple for Shopify to incorporate.  Not the answer I was hoping for but at least there is a solution, one that will cost me.

Totally agree, and this is a no-brainer. Could someone please elevate this request? With the amount of resources Shopify has on hand, this one is EASY to add  - we're just asking to add one field - customer name - to the Payout report and page.

I agree and also would like the shipping and taxes information associated with each payout.

No. Someone who created an app tried to sell it to me. This is basic
information that we shouldn't have to pay extra for!

I totally agree, this is a nightmare at month-end!

Please, Shopify, our subscription is not cheap, please add this to the reports.
