How can I integrate Shopify Shipping for UK checkout options?

Hi everyone - I'm trying to add Shopify Shipping as an option for my customers at checkout (either DPD or Hermes as based in the UK) but I can't seem to find out how to do this. I currently have my own x2 shipping rate options but am keen to use Shopify Shipping to allow me to print labels at home rather than using Royal Mail/post office.

Thanks for reaching out here! I noticed that you're a new member, welcome. I'm more than happy to guide you through the process of setting up Shopify Shipping.

 

Since your business is located in the UK, you will have access to discounted rates from Hermes or DPD rates as you mentioned. As you're based in the United Kingdom, then flat rates are added by default, and you have the option to activate Hermes or DPD rates. To set this up, please refer to the steps listed here: Setting up Shipping Rates. If you prefer to continue to use your own flat rates, that works too! You can simply move to the next paragraph to learn more about purchasing shipping labels while fulfilling orders. 

 

Once you set up your shipping rates and begin to get orders, then you can buy shipping labels when you're fulfilling an order in Shopify. Check out this great tutorial: How to Buy Shopify Shipping Labels

Hi Luna, thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly.

 

I followed the step by step guide, however when I get to the option of 'Use carrier or app to calculate rates' I get the following message: There are no carriers or apps available for this zone

 

The zone/profile I have set up is for UK...

Absolutely I'm happy to help! Hmm, I see. Is your business address listed in the UK as well (Settings > Store Details > Address)? Do you also have a UK fulfillment location?

Thanks for clarifying! We'll need to access your account to take a closer look. Please visit our Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request. Once you have logged in, type your request in 'Ask about a topic', scroll down to 'Get Support' and then click 'Continue. They will be able to access your account and narrow down where the issue is arising.
