How can I manage multiple box shipping for one product?

Hi, I have been battling this for far too long.

Item; x1 (customer orders, paid)

boxes; 3 x 20kg(ea) boxes for the one product.

how can I do this in Shopify? I’ve tried a few shipping apps but then require me to create courier accounts etc.

so frustrated - we are looking at other platforms because shipping is an absolute basic requirement for any online business and your development of this area is utterly lacklustre!

If you dropship from China you just need the supplier ship to your clients directly or order fulfillment agent help you ship and upload the tracking to Shopify. You just need to set the shipping rates for the products manually based on the weight and volume.

However, I was wondering how to make money for so heavy products as the shipping cost very high due to the pandemic period.

Cant do it through Shopify natively, luckily it shouldnt be too hard to find what your after.  You'll likely need a 3rd party courier.  In canada there is a service called netparcel, probably something similar in your neck of the woods.  Basically a courier shipping label reseller, usually gives you a nice price break over buying direct from UPS or another company like that.  Additional boxes are actually fairly cheap when going through a courier. If im looking at $25 for a single box, usually 3 boxes would be $31ish.  

The netparcel app is a free integrate, no fees beyond the normal service prices they charge for the courier label.  Good odds something along those lines exists for you.

 When it comes to shipping in Shopify, the third-party shipping app is indeed necessary for the Shopify merchant to ship the orders to a customer with proper care, until it is delivered by the customer. The carrier accounts are necessary for a Shopify merchant to get discounts on shipping rates and you can also get negotiated rates at the checkout if you are shipping orders in bulk volumes.

The Shopify multi-carrier shipping label app will create a carrier account with a two-step process by providing a few credentials like account number, meter number, web services key, and password. The app also automates the box-packaging process by choosing the right box for the order to be shipped. You can create a custom shipping box for each product based on product weight and dimensions like height x width x breadth values.

Note: If you don’t have credentials, you can get them from carrier production and test credentials.
