How can I manage orders from two different markets in one online store?

Hello,

We have previously used different Shopify stores. One for the EU and One for the US as we have two different warehouses for each market.

However, I want only to have one store and when an order is placed in US then our warehouse here should receive this order and when and order is placed in EU then our warehouse in EU should receive this. I know that we don't need to have two different shopify stores to do so, but the question is just how can I ensure this is possible and what is the best practice? it is quite urgent.
