Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello--We are having trouble configuring our shipping profiles appropriately and are looking for an expert to reach out to to have on retainer or pay by the hour.
At the moment, we have shipping set up by weight, but it's creating issues when someone purchases multiple items and the items are in different shipping profiles. For instance, shipping a parka is set at $20 and shipping a t-shirt is set at $5 so the resulting shipping cost is calculated at $25. Ideally we'd like it to figure that the t-shirt will fit in the box with the parka and keep the shipping rate at $20.
Recommendations are appreciated! Thank you!
Hi @MackenzieH,
When using multiple shipping profiles, if orders contain products from different profiles or locations, this will result in combined rates at the checkout and the higher rate is charged. Currently, the only available workaround would be to use an app to set up more specific shipping rules.
Based on your requirement Multi Carrier Shipping Label App will be the right option. This app allows you to set multiple shipping rules and automates your entire shipping process.
