How can I prevent selling out-of-stock items on my website?

Hello!
It often happens to me that several buyers buy a product at the same time and it is duplicated, although it is not available. Is there any way to disable this feature so that I don't sell more than what is in stock? I need to make the refunds every time! Thank you.
