How can I remove express checkout and add Google Pay and PayPal options?

Hello,

• I would like to remove the express checkout at stage 1 of the check out process and just give options like google pay and paypall also at the end of checkout. I had multiple dutch customers who did not buy my product because they thought their usual payment methods are not available, and I can 't blame them. It is very confusing indeed. Please can someone help me with this issue, as I am clearly losing customers here. Shopify help told me to try it this way .

There are apps that hide the Express Checkout on stage 1. So you will only see Paypal after completing your information, I agree that the express checkout is very confusing.

You can remove the express checkout at stage 1 of the checkout process and only give options like Google Pay and PayPal at the end of checkout using the PayRules: Hide Payment Methods app. Here's how you can do it:

1. Open the PayRules: Hide Payment Methods app.
2. Navigate to the "PayPal Express Checkout" section.
3. Enable the toggle to hide the PayPal Express Checkout button.

This will remove the express checkout options from the first stage.
