How can I rename the 'Tip' line item in our ERP system?

Dear Community,

we like the tipping feature from shopify and plan to use it soon. We tested it already in a development store and noticed that in our ERP it is received as a position with the title "Tip". I guess our ERP just takes the name of the line_item, when importing an order from shopify. Is there anyway to change this name? We would like to rename it to the german word "Trinkgeld" so our warehouse workers know how to handle it on there picklists and the customers see it on the invoice.

Hi Tom,

just testing around with the Tip functionality as donation option (als Spendenfunktion ^^) and running into the same issues like you are. The word "Tip" is hardcoded literally everywhere. You can change it for customer facing communication channels like Invoice and notifications with some quick workarounds, but I don't see an option to change it in the backend. So it's a matter of educating staff what "Tip" is considered to be.
