How can I resolve a 401 status code issue on a Shopify-Mintsoft connection?

Hi there, we are having a real issue trying to connect our shopify store with our fulfilment company who use MIntsoft. Several poeple have tried to help but its still not connecting. I can't seem to find out how we can get help directly from Shopify customer support. Can anyone please help. We thought it was a setting in the location permissions but that wasn't it. We then got the following message:

If the Shopify API returns 401 Unauthorized , handle this error on your app by redirecting the user to your login path to start the OAuth flow. As a result, your app will be given a new online access token for the current user.

 

Please can someone advise on how we resolve this issue? We can't keep sending manual orders through as its taking so much of our time. Do we need to delete any connection ands start again or is there a way to resolve this another way. Any help or feedback would really be appreciated.

same issue here, can't get the integration working and the mintsoft support email in the shopify app store doesn't work.

Hey Jacques-Karen,

Unfortunately because Mintsoft is a Third Party System you would ideally need to contact Mintsoft Directly via the Access Support Forums. Shopify cannot help you with Third Party Systems as it is not likely a Shopify issue.

If you are receiving a 401 Unauthorised issue it usually means that your Custom App does not have the required permissions or alternatively the configuration in Mintsoft is not setup with the correct connections settings (using your Shopify App API credentials or Custom App Key).

There are some other considerations such as whether you are connecting to Mintsoft directly via an App or through an App that uses their API.

I recommend you ask your fulfilment company to review the connection settings and permissions to properly connect your website to Mintsoft.
