How can I set up a UK-based payment gateway from Africa?

I'm in africa but my business based to united Kingdom. I need to setup payment gateway to accept credits card on my website. Please help me.

I'd like to check a couple of things out with you here so we can point you in the right direction for more info.

The requirements will vary depending on the payment gateway processor you choose to use for your business, but I know you would be expected to provide some sort of personal and business identity documentation in order to process payments.

In your case, if you wish to use a payment processor for a store based in the UK, you would need a UK-based bank account, proof of address, etc.

I know that the proof of address is a hard requirement in terms of Shopify Payments, as this is proof that your business is actually based and operating in the country in question.

Should you not have these things, you could still look into using a payment gateway available for use in your own country.
