How can I set up shipping charges for Alaska and Hawaii?

Hello everyone, my first time posting here.

I am creating a new drop shipping site, and plan on offering free shipping to the lower 48 states, and charge shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.

Can annoying please help me through the steps of seeing that up?

Yes, it is true.
I believe that I may have solved it by creating 2 shipping zones, 1 free zone for the 48 states, and another paid zone for Hawaii & Alaska:

from  0 to 10 lbs for $x (majority of products)
from 10 to 50 lbs for $x+ (few exceptions)
but...

This may create more headaches than its worth because the majority of products from Aliexpress do not have weight specified

I may need to think it through
