How can I set up specific shipping profiles for different product types in India?

Hi,

My store is based in Chennai, India and we sell multiple Product Type products like books, stationery, gifts, toys, electronics accessories, etc.

Currently we have a LOCAL DELIVERY Area specified and a General Shipping profile where it applies to all locations outside the LOCAL DELIVERY Area. Both LOCAL DELIVERY area and General Profile apply to ALL PRODUCT TYPES. 

Now I wish to setup shipping as follows:

All SKUS under 'Books' and 'Stationery' Product Type will be available for Shipping to all over India. We shall setup as a new Shipping Profile with different Shipping Zones so we charge different rates for each State. 

Rest of the skus under all other Product Types will be available for shipping only to select pincodes of base location city, Chennai (which is currently classified as LOCAL DELIVERY AREA). So ideally this will be the General Shipping profile. 

I wish to know if I can setup Shipping Profiles like this and will it work as intended because I see that shipping zone can be set for state and not a city.

Else how else can i setup so i get intended functionality.

Need advice on how I can set this up for smooth functioning , ideally using Shopify Shipping Setup itself.
