How can I verify my PO Box as a valid shipping location?

How can I verify my PO Box as a valid shipping location?

I would like my PO Box to display on my Shipping Labels instead of my home/business address. When I enter the PO Box into my Admin/Settings/Locations, I receive the error "This address couldn't be verified." How do you correctly enter a PO Box address as a Location that could later be selected as a Shipping Location (with Rates)? I am using the information provided, specifically, by the Post Office. Thank you for any help! My store is not able to process orders without my home address listed as the Shipping Address on the Shipping Labels.Screen Shot 2022-07-19 at 1.00.26 PM.png

Hi PaigeAllen,

I have run into the same problem as you and I'm hoping someone can provide a solution. One thing that could help is that in the address field your address should look something like "PO Box 783262" instead of the address of the Post Office. My PO Box address couldn't be verified either so it still may not work.

Hello! It's been so long it's hard to say for sure...I remember it was all about the zip code. I had to call the Post Office and confirm that I could use the zip code for their physical location (67207) because the zip code associated with the PO Box they gave me (67278) was causing the error. Once I entered the physical address of the Post Office and entered my box number in the Apartment/Suite field, it verified as accurate. I also didn't use the words "PO Box" just "#" and the box number, as though that was a suite number. I was nervous about it but the Post Office said that was fine and I haven't had an issue yet (knock on wood). I hope this helps! Good luck!
