How can we integrate an Uzbekistani payment system into Shopify?

Hello, I would like to discuss possibility of adding Uzbekistani payment system to Shopify so Uzbekistani users could use it please help me to contact specialist.

P.S My name is Oybek I am head specialist at Ministry or development of information technologies and communications of Uzbkistan. We are regulatory body of E -commerce in Uzbekistan. We see strong demand for Shopify services but since local payment services are not integrated to Shopify, it makes little use.

I cannot find any local payment services in Uzbekistan that are integrated with Shopify. Since most of the population use only local payment services I was wondering if there had been some changes since this request.

I have similar case. I've launched a Shopify store from Uzbekistan, targeting the United States as a market for my retail operations.

Now, all that's left is to connect a payment gateway on my store. The issue is that there are very few players working with this specific region. The payment provider needs to receive payments from US customers and transfer them to Uzbekistan.

Have you faced similar cases? And can you help with that?

Hi N_Abey, 

The local payments we're looking for are Uzbekistan card brands such as Uzcard and Humo. These are payment systems that Uzbekistan people use for payments via cards. VISA is also supported but it's rarely used. Most popular are Uzcard and Humo. There was "Payze" plug-in in Shopify which used to work with Uzcard and Humo, however they have stopped supporting Shopify since April 2024. I'm not sure why. 

If you could suggest a new gateway or any other payment system for Uzcard and Humo, we would greatly appreciate and develop e-commerce in Uzbekistan using shopify.

Hi Oybek bro, how are you Iʼm going to start deal with dropshipping and I will ask you how to add uzbekistanʼs credit card in shopify payment. If you have time, Could you asnwer my question? The reason is question, I really dificult add to card. Iʼm a new seller in shopify if you help me about these problems, I just to be happy. As you know I didnʼt use payment method in shopify.
