How do I remove the ''Shipping from'' option?

Hello, 

Some of my products had numerous countries that they ship products from. I had China, U.S. and Germany. I removed U.S. and Germany, however, on my product page it still shows ''Ship from'' option. Is it possible to remove it? All of my items are shipped from China anyway, so all it does is just show from which country the items are being shipped from.

Is it possible to remove it or at least hide it? Only option is China anyway, so people can't switch it.

I'm Ann, from the team here at Shopify 🙂

It's hard to say for sure where this might be coming from, without taking a look into the back end of your store. However, it seems like it might be something that's coming from a variant. If you head to the admin side of your product page and scroll down to the 'Variants' section, you can likely see 'Ships from' and 'China' listed there. 

To remove a variant you can click the link to 'Edit Options', then in the pop up that appears, click the little trash icon next to each variant you want to remove. It looks like this: 

You'll want to remove that from any product that has it in order to make sure it completely disappears. Take a look and let me know if this helps!

Hi, I read from this article in Oberlo that you cannot just remove the value from variants or you will break the connection with AliExpress:

You have another option which is changing the Ships From to Ship To and make a few adjustments. I know Shopify supports cannot just have an answer for every external app that it supports but we also need to make sure their support is actually accurate.

It would be easy to just take that 'ships from' variant off, but like the previous question or comment I'd like to make sure it doesn't affect the ordering procedure with Oberlo/Aliexpress/specified warehouse/customer. When doing product research I try to always pick the country for which I'm selling in and make sure it has the fastest shipping times. With that said I do not want to delete or remove the variant if it is going to mess the ordering procedure associated with these variants. I just simply want the 'ships from' tab/menu on the order page gone.

There has to be an option to simply hide that section.

When you go to the variant section there is a dropdown menu that says more options. From there select edit options and you can delete the ships from section

Doesn't seem to work for me.

Can you guys just make a function to just remove the button from the live webpage and it stays in the backend so that it doesn't cause any errors with Orbelo ect.... I definitely feel that this should be an option that a lot of people would be wanting.

I am in the same boat. I updated variant to show US and not China but I am not sure how it is going to work. I desperately need help on this.

In the Ships from field, rename China option to Outside US, and United States to Within US for every variant.

But what if there is Spain, the Czech Republic, Turkey etc. instead of only China...?
