How do I set up a different payment method for selling in the USA?

@All  hi there, I've one question that currently I am selling in one country and set up a payment method for it and now I want to sell USA and want to use another payment method for it now what I've to do

It would not generally be possible to restrict the availability of a given payment method based on the country your customer is in.

 

What I can do for you from here is to file a request for this functionality with our developer team so they know this is something our merchants are looking to see added to the platform in the future.

In order to determine if a given alternative payment method would support your requirement, you would need to check in with the specific provider of that payment method.

 

You can learn how to add or activate an alternative payment method for your Shopify store here on our help site.

 

It is also possible for you to add manual payment methods to your store, such as bank transfer, that you could decide to use for other markets.

 

In this way, you would be able to leave instructions in your store that this payment method is only available for customers from a certain market, and that any orders made outside of this region will not be processed.

 

Have a look at the options outlined above, research some of the alternative payment methods available where you are, and consider whether a manual payment method might work for your needs.
