How do you get customers to pay RD fees at checkout?-NZ question

Trying to find out from Shopify how you can add RD charges at checkout. I would have thought this would be in the system as RD adds over $4 to the cost of Shipping. Shopify are saying no but thought this community may have worked it out already. The RD charges in NZ are going up again in July so I am not able to absorb the increase.
