How does integrating Afterpay impact my business?

I work for Afterpay and help enable merchants big and small to offer "Buy Not, Pay Later" for their customers. I receive a ton of questions per day regarding the integration process, potential business impact, and more.

Hi

I run two 3 different Shopify stores, separate brands, websites etc. Can I use the same Afterpay account across the 3 or do I need to set up 3 different Afterpay accounts?

Hello,

It depends if these three brands are under the same entity or separate entities (ex. ABC LLC vs ABC LLC, BCD LLC, CDE LLC.).

Hi, I've been having a difficult time getting Afterpay's Cross Border Trade to function correctly.
Despite everything being correctly integrated the only way for Afterpay to show up as a payment option at checkout is for an Australian shipping address to be entered, which seems completely at odds with what CBT is supposed to provide.

After pointing this out to AP Support I received the following response:

Is this correct? What's the purpose of CBT if it can't work with multiple store currencies/markets?

And is there a workaround?

My store www.aroonasurf.shop (pw -retracted- ) has integrated AfterPay, it shows under the pricing, but in the cart it doesn't appear as an option.

When adding the element in the editor I can see the editor moving, eg. trying to add it and then being overridden in a millisecond. My feeling is that ShopPay and Google Pay and/or Apple Pay are taking up the available space for payment buttons.

Please correct & advise me if I am wrong...

AfterPay wasn't showing because I work in Thailand, but the shop's situated in Australia.

All good - it's working 🙂
