How long does it take for Paypal process the payment?

Hi there,

i just received my first paypal order and wanted to know if it should take only minutes to process this payment option. Because its been 1 hour and there is still appearing the same notification:

Payment is pending

PayPal Express Checkout is still processing this order's payment. To make sure you get paid, wait for the payment to be successful before fulfilling this order.

Btw, the store's Paypal account is set up since the beginning when we built the shop and everything should have been made with the same email.
