How should I handle a customer's delayed shipping request?

Hello, I have a customer who has placed and paid for a large order but does not want me to ship until the end of April because they may be vacationing Internationally at my location and able to pick up. Do I leave the status as unfulfilled? Or how would I go about this on my end?

Thank you for reaching out and providing that information! 

 

Yes, I would mark the order as unfulfilled so your inventory does not have any issues. Then, when the customer picks up the order, you can mark it as fulfilled. I would also put a note explaining the situation on the order page for your staff to be aware of.
