Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
We have successfully activated Shopify Payments as indicated by the “Welcome to Shopify Payments” confirmation email. However, we’ve noticed that Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and other payment options are not yet appearing in our checkout process.
Could you please provide clarity on when we can expect these payment methods to be fully operational for our customers? Additionally, if there are any further steps or setup requirements on our part to facilitate this.
Hey @Rookie4.
Thanks for reaching out.
That is a great question! When you successfully set up Shopify Payments on your online store - you will have the option to enable or disable payment providers offered through the gateway. You can make these changes by navigating to Settings > Payments > Manage (Shopify Payments). Once you are managing the gateway, you should see the options to configure the gateway to accept all major credit cards. With that being said, I am happy to inform you that Shopify Payments does also include Apple Pay. In order to have this available on your online store checkout, you will need to make sure that you meet the requirements listed here.
Let me know if you have any questions.
