Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I use PayPal payments on my store only. I keep getting FALSE chargebacks from customers after receiving the item I shipped to them. I end up each time responding to PayPal, uploading all order proofs and shipping labels. Of course all cases end up in my favor since I have all proof.
It's very annoying as PayPal automatically holds the disputed amount until reviewed, which takes 10+ days. If I have a low wallet balance, it goes negative and I'm stuck from any actions till it's resolved. Very frustrating.
My question: Is there anyway to filter or reduce these FALSE chargebacks each time, like with an app or something linked with PayPal??? I can't tell you the amount of scamming customers who tried getting their money back after receiving the item. It takes a customer to click one simple chargeback button, and me to take ages in getting all proof labels, uploading and staying on hold.
There are specific apps that will sync your shipping details that specifically work with Paypal to reduce your workload like Uptrack or Synctrack available on the app store.
However, they do not prevent a chargeback from happening in the first place. For this you will need much more sophisticated fraud prevention apps like Beacon to accomplish this where it uses data analysis to figure out the behavior for bad-actors before a chargeback can be opened.
I've used a fraud app previously, but that doesn't stop a customer from logging into their PayPal account and hitting that Chargeback button.
I was hoping there was some app that integrates with PayPal that automatically provides the proof of order, and tracking once fulfilled.
FYI I moved countries so I re-opened a new business PayPal 2 years ago. Back when I had a USA PayPal, i still got chargebacks but PayPal never used to HOLD the amounts
This is why i mentioned, Uptrack or Synctrack. Check these apps out.
Thank you very much. I will check both out and see if they work as needed.
