How to calculate shipping costs for products from multiple fulfillment centers?

I am a little confused by something, if you are stocking products from multiple places, ie. printful, printify, etc. How do you calculate shopping because if one person has items from different fulfilment centres surely their shipping costs will be way too much?

I hope I have explained that ok, I am very new to all of this and trying to find my feet.
